The Land Stewardship Training Program provides common sense
principles for farm and ranch contractors and landowners. This workshop will
provide key information designed to enhance environmental sustainability,
contractor profitability and landowner satisfaction.
The focus of the workshop is for contractors and landowners
who want to learn more about carefully planning management activities and implementing
conservation practices that will minimize soil erosion, protect water
resources, enhance wildlife species, and maintain land health and
productivity. Management operations that minimize site disturbance
improve or maintain aesthetic value while reducing risk of oak wilt
infestations and wildfire damage.
