Lone Star State Incident Management Team Accepting Applications April 1-30, 2019
Texas A&M Forest Service is proud to announce the Lone Star State Type 2 and Type 3 Incident Management Team application process opens April 1st. This new interagency team format will include TFS employees as well as our Federal, State, and Local Response Partners. Who can apply?
Any employee of Texas A&M Forest Service, State of Texas, Federal Cooperator (USFS, USFWS, BIA, NPS, TNC) or current member of the Texas All-Hazard Type 3 IMT Program.
Application Process
Applicants can apply for positions within each team. The IMT Coordinating Council will review all applications and will make the final selection of the Type 2 and Type 3 Team by June 1st . *All current LSSIMT Members must re-apply and will follow the application and selection process.

Experience Needed
Preference will be given to current, qualified applicants for the Primary and Alternate positions. Trainee positions will be determined by current open task book. Apprentice positions will be based on available openings for the position.
