The W. Goodrich Jones State Forest in Texas offers a Best Management Practices (BMPs) Virtual Demonstration Tour to showcase conservation practices that protect water quality during forest management activities. The BMPs are voluntary, aimed at preventing nonpoint source pollution by promoting sustainable forestry techniques. The demonstrations highlight various methods to prevent erosion and protect streams, such as crowned roads, creosote timber bridges, streamside management zones, wing ditches, geoweb low water crossings, road stabilization, culverts, and flat car bridges.
