After a hugely successful 5-year run of Aggie Replant on
Bastrop State Park, a new adventure is beginning along the Blanco River.
On May 24, 2015, Memorial Day
weekend, an extreme rainfall event caused flooding on many Central Texas
rivers. The hardest hit was the Blanco River within Hays County with
flood waters cresting at 40 feet above flood-stage. An estimated 13,800
trees were lost.
Aggie Replant along with TreeFolks and Texas A&M Forest
Service have teamed up to help restore the Blanco River.
