  • EVENTS: TEXAS WILDLIFE & WOODLAND EXPO AND SPRING FLING 2019

    Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

     

    The Texas Wildlife & Woodland Expo and Spring Fling is a free, how-to event that affords families, youth and adults a chance to get outdoors, learn about the natural environment and recognize the significance healthy forests, trees, wildlife and pollinators have on clean air, clean water and our overall health.

    • Over 5,000 families, individuals and youth attend annually. 
    • Interactive booths and hands-on learning stations for all ages throughout the event. 
    • Opportunities for youth organizations to work toward badges and patches. 
    • Outdoor recreation activities, hunter safety, fishing, archery, and many other skills & fitness challenges in the Kid Adventure Zone. 
    • Urban and rural home and landowners mini-lecture and “how to” sessions covering ecosystem services mini-lecture and “how to” sessions covering ecosystem services. 
    • Ask the experts on a variety of topics.
