Grant proposals will open on Dec. 1, 2025, and close on March 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

About

Healthy urban and community forests are essential to the economic, environmental, physical, and mental well-being of all Texans. To help foster these forests, our 2026 Community Forestry Grants Program is offering over $1.2 million in six categories.

Twenty-two Texas cities, neighborhoods, non-profit organizations and schools received grant funding through the Texas A&M Forest Service Community Forestry Grants Program, totaling $15.4 million.
