About
The Texas Temporary Bridge Program provides a lease-to-own opportunity for loggers to purchase temporary bridges for their logging operations in Texas.
Recipients are responsible for lease payments of 25% of the full purchase price of the temporary bridges. Lease payments may be spread over 6 months. After completion of the lease-to-own agreement terms, we will transfer ownership of bridges to you.
The current application provides three options:
- Drag-line mat (8 in. thick x 4 ft. wide x 18 ft. long)
- Drag-line mat (12 in. thick x 4 ft. wide x 20 ft. long)
- Laminated drag-line mat (6 in. thick x 8 ft. wide x 16 ft. long)
Cost is based on standard rates. Costs shown on the application are anticipated and not final. If you would like to see other options offered, please contact your local forester.
All mats must be utilized within Texas. Part of the agreement includes our validation of usage. Validations will be organized via call to you before a site visit.
