Maps and Data
Geospatial technology
is used to acquire, manipulate, store, and display geographic
information.
The geospatial group at Texas A&M Forest
Service conducts geospatial analyses to help guide decisions on wildfire
risk and forest resources. Using geospatial data and technology, the
group develops applications that provide state-of-the art access to
information on forest lands and wildfire issues across Texas. Learn more
about how Texas A&M Forest Service applications can help you
accomplish your objectives through the Applications
page.
The working group has produced several documents and a list
of links to websites to help those not familiar with geospatial technology be
better informed. These can be found on the Resources
page.
