Yesterday, Texas A&M Forest Service responded to 10 new requests for assistance on wildfires burning 177.5 acres acres across the state.

- Duval 1256 Fire, Duval County - 58 acres and 90% contained
- Crabapple Fire, Gillespie County - 9,737 acres and 65% contained
- Chicken Strip Fire, Real County - 22 acres and 95% contained
- Roadrunner Fire, Jim Wells County - 6 acres and 90% contained
- Fifty Fire, Willacy County - 98 acres and 95% contained
